Such a sweet song again. And yes, you guessed right: this one is for the wedding too!
This is the Love Theme from the Dark Crystal Suite by Trevor Jones. It’s from a movie. This was a special request, and one that took awhile to make because the original score is for symphony orchestra, and to reduce that to something that sounds convincingly on guitar, and is not too difficult to play, was not easy.
Pupil Nienke asked for the chords of this song. I thought it would be fun for her to play the melody as well, so I wrote that out. To make that into a full-blown finger style arrangement was only a small step. Yet playing it proved to be a little harder! I’d rate this arrangement as intermediate.

I made two versions. This is the easy one: capo in 5, simple bass, no slapping.
And this is the not-so-easy fingerstyle arrangement: capo in 1 so lots of high positions, slapping, slap ‘n’ pluck and harmonics. Have fun!
Pupil Sanne asked for #walkmehome by #pink I’ve made a fairly easy arrangement with a very simple bass line. This song has a constantly changing time signature, which is very rare in a pop song, but it’s not noticeable when you listen to it.
That was a fairly quick arrangement: started it yesterday, let it simmer for a while, finished it this morning, let it simmer a little longer, recorded it this afternoon. Some of my teenage pupils love #BillieEilish, and let’s be honest, I thinks she’s cool too! Here’s an intermediate fingerstyle arrangement of #Bellyache.
